Paul, there are prepaid cards that are designed specifically for Canadians. I suggest you speak to a local financial institution in Canada to find out what prepaid card products are available to you.

There seems to be a problem with this - the card issuers blame it on the Patriot Act, but the Patriot Act does not say that cards cannot be issued to non-residents, only that proper ID has to be obtained. I am a resident of Canada and am finding that most of the issuers of prepaid cards will not provide cards to Canadian residents.

I think that stinks. cause if you would went head and actived my card i could of order my clippers and they would be here in time to groom my dogs next week . and the girl at the serivce desk told me snice I didn't remenber my password i had to get a new one. now it'll be a whole new week and guess what i don't even get the 3 dollors back from the new and they are holding 9 dollors out for the old ones. that stinks. i will not have a walmart prepaid after this thanks for screwing with my income.
