Visa and American Express both have special designs in their gift card programs. Gift cards can make a terrific gift. It's a great addition to a card, for a teen or other tough-to-buy-for friend or relative.

Tita, You should call American Express immediately at the phone number on your receipt. They will be able to update you on the status of the card you purchased and work with you to determine your best course of action.

I purchased and mailed an American Express Gift Card on 11/26/07. The receipient says they haven't received the card yet in Pensacola, Florida. I have a purchasers receipt with "HX209-476-329" on it. Can I find out if someone else recieved the card and used it? Also, can I replace this card?
