Platinum Card
This card is an upgrade from the Classic. It has higher credit limit potential and two additional benefits: Price Protection and Purchase Assurance. Price Protection lets cardholders take advantage of sale prices on their purchases. If they buy an item and the price drops within 60 days they can get a refund of the difference. Purchase Assurance allows for replacement of an item that is damaged or stolen within 90 days of purchase.
Secured Card
This card is available to people with interest-bearing savings accounts only. They can borrow anywhere from $250 to $5,000 if they agree to keep a sum equal to the amount they borrow in the savings account. It’s good for people with no established credit and for those that wish to improve their credit rating.
Travel Corporate Card
This card is designed for union leaders. It’s meant to be used to pay for corporate travel expenses and other union costs only. This card comes with travel insurance, baggage protection and worldwide customer service. Card holders can get five expense reports per month to help them with their accounting.

Eligible people interested in obtaining a Union Plus credit card can apply for the first three card types online. Anyone who wants to apply for a Travel Corporate card must call 1-888-428-6466 or send an email to corpcard.requests@us.hsbc.com.
