About Target Gift Cards

Target gifts cards are prepaid cards that allow users to make purchases at Target stores and online at Target.com. The amount of money available on the card equals the amount of money loaded onto the card by the purchaser. E-Gift Cards

Electronic versions of Target gift cards can be purchased online. These "e-gift cards" can only be used for purchases on the Target website and cannot be used to make purchases within the store. Recipients do not receive an actual card, but instead receive e-mail notification of the gift along with a number to use to make purchases using the Target website.

There is no cost associated with purchasing a Target e-gift card.
