Choose a Sunoco Credit Card
There are several cards to choose from, each of them catering to a certain demographic.
The Sunoco Card
This card features a revolving credit balance that allows you to make purchases for gas as well as within the Sunoco convenience store. Benefits of this card include:
- No annual fee
- Additional cards for family members at no cost to the cardholder
- Grace period for purchases before interest is charged
- Access to account information online
Although the interest rate for this card is comparable to gas cards issued by other gas stations, it is still a higher interest rate than most traditional credit cards. The interest rate will also increase substantially if the cardholder defaults on a payment.
The Sunoco MasterCard
This card features a MasterCard logo, making it available for use anywhere that MasterCards are accepted. There are two versions of the Sunoco MasterCard:
- The Sunoco MasterCard features an introductory 0 percent APR for balance transfers for the first six months and also has no annual fee.
- The Sunoco MasterCard Platinum is available to applicants with high credit scores and features all the perks of the Sunoco MasterCard with a lower interest rate. Additional perks that come with the Platinum Sunoco card include:
- An impressive rebate program for purchases made at Sunoco stations
- 1 percent rebate on all non-Sunoco purchases without a cap on rebates earned
- A generous credit line
These cards are ideal for people who want to have a Sunoco credit card, yet also want to be able to use the cards with other merchants and potentially earn rebates.
The Sunoco Business Card
Sunoco offer several credit options for business owners to manage their fuel purchases.
- The SunTrak Fleet Card is designed for large fleets and comes with a small monthly fee. Cardholders receive discounts on fuel purchases when using this card and Sunoco issues detailed monthly reports to business owners.
- The Sunoco Universal Card allows fleets to fuel at Sunoco as well as other participating gas stations. This card features a volume discount for Sunoco purchases in addition to detailed monthly purchase reports sent to business owners. The Universal Card has a monthly fee and a one-time administrative fee of $40 to get the account started.
- The Sunoco Corporate Card is designed for smaller fleets. It offers a plan that makes it easier for business owners to control how the cards are used by employees. Business owners also have full access to account information online.
With so many different business credit cards to choose from it's easy for business owners to find a card that will work for them, regardless of the size of their fleet.
The Sunoco Prepaid Card
The Sunoco prepaid card is different from many other prepaid fuel cards because you can use this prepaid card at the pump instead of having to go inside and pay with the cashier before pumping gas. Prepaid cards can also be used to purchase items from within the convenience store at participating Sunoco stations. Prepaid cards are also available in special NASCAR versions.
