From LoveToKnow Creditcards
The Rush Visa card may be the perfect card to keep in your wallet for emergencies or to help you set the limit for how much you spend. Be sure you understand the features and fees before you decide to apply.
Convenient Access and Control
The Rush Visa card, officially called the RushCard, is a prepaid debit card that gives convenient access to your money. You control the amount of money available to spend, based on the amount you add to the card. You can use it anywhere a Visa debit card is accepted.
Russell Simmons, the founder of Baby Phat Fashions and Phat Farm, offers this prepaid debit card. Manufacturers and Traders Trust Company issue it in two card designs – a black RushCard and a pink baby phat RushCard.
Advantages of a Prepaid Debit Card

- Don't want to use a checking account or open a special savings account
- Want to add funds in limited amounts to help them manage their spending
- Want to minimize the chance of identity theft
