All Three Reports From One Source

You can claim all three free credit reports at one time at AnnualCreditReport.com. The website will give you instructions on how to verify your identity and gain you access to your credit report file. This process will include steps asking you to:

  • Verify your personal information including your name, address, and Social Security number.
  • Input the number on your Driver's License or other state-issued identification.
  • Answer a series of questions to further ensure that you are the person about whom the credit report is compiled. This may include asking you questions about your mortgage, car loan or a line of credit.

Once you go through this process, the credit report is displayed for you online. You can scroll through it or click through the sections. It is a good idea to print a copy of your credit report for your files. Be prepared to print a long report - reports can have as many as 30 pages.

To request a credit report for a child under the age of 13, parents will need to use a specific form from the credit bureaus or from AnnualCreditReport.com.

Credit Score
