Tips on FIA Credit Cards

As with an credit card you apply for, read the terms and conditions. A credit card may offer a low APR for purchases if the full balance is paid at billing time, however, if not paid in full, a larger APR will apply as an ongoing charge.

The rewards programs do have limits on some of the FIA credit cards and if you apply online, you only get a snapshot of the terms and conditions so make sure you call or download all of the terms and conditions before you apply.

To find out which FIA cards do raise interest rates, read the cardholder agreements first. As with any credit card, stay smart and try and pay your balances in full and avoid using the credit card for living expenses.
