Choose an Exxon Gas Card

There are three different types of Exxon cards for consumers:

• ExxonMobil Personal Card
• ExxonMobil Preferred Card
• ExxonMobil MasterCard

Exxon also offers credit card products for businesses:

• ExxonMobil Business Card
• ExxonMobil Fleet Card
• ExxonMobil Universal Card

Each credit card product offers different terms and conditions.

Personal Cards

Which card applicants receive depends on their credit scores and which card they apply for.

• ExxonMobil Personal Card: This card has no annual fee and can be used for purchases at participating ExxonMobil stations. Although the card cannot be used to make purchases elsewhere, the card does allow for cash advances at ATMs. This Exxon gas card also features the Speedpass keychain for ease of use.
• ExxonMobil Preferred Card: Like the Personal Card, this card does not feature a MasterCard logo but can be used to access cash at ATMs. Enhanced features on this card include a generous rebate program for travel expenses and travel agency services. A discount program is also included with this card.
• ExxonMobil MasterCard: Since this card features a MasterCard logo it can be used for merchandise and service purchases at locations beyond ExxonMobil stations. There is no annual fee and the card features a reward and rebate program offering extra rebates on fuel purchases at participating gas stations. This card is issued through Citibank. For the lowest interest rate and highest buying power, apply for the Exxon gas card featuring the MasterCard logo.

Business Cards

The size of a company's fleet determines which card is suitable for them:

• ExxonMobil Business Card: This card is appropriate for smaller fleets with less than fifteen vehicles. It allows business owners to place restrictions on how the cards are used by employees. There is no annual fee for this card.
• ExxonMobil Fleet Card: This card is designed for larger fleets numbering more than fifteen vehicles. Business owners receive detailed account reports every month and have online access to the accounts.
• ExxonMobil Universal Card: This card is designed for large, national fleets. The advantage to this card is that it's accepted at a wide variety of gas stations beyond ExxonMobil stations. This gives greater flexibility to cardholders. There are also several security features available with this card.

All three cards allow business owners to access detailed statements online so they can keep track of their employees' spending.

Prepaid Gas Cards

In addition to the credit cards offered through Exxon, consumers can also purchase prepaid gas cards for use at ExxonMobil stations. These cards can be useful for budgeting purposes or can be given as gifts. Cards can be purchased in the following denominations:

• $25
• $50
• $100

For Exxon customers who are particularly fond of the Begal Traders coffee offered within Exxon stations there is also a prepaid coffee card available.

Prepaid cards can be purchased online or at a participating gas station.

Apply for a Card

Consumers and business owners can apply for any of the Exxon cards online. Participating stations also have paper applications for interested applicants to complete.

The applications are relatively brief and applicants usually receive a response back quickly. Applicants who apply for an ExxonMobil MasterCard, but who have unacceptable credit scores, may be offered an alternate product like the Personal Card or the Preferred Card. Applicants who apply for a Personal Card may be offered a MasterCard if their credit scores are high enough.

ExxonMobil has gas stations nationwide and in a variety of countries around the world. Before applying for a gas card through this company make sure that there are participating stations nearby so you can get the highest amount of rebates possible for your purchases while also taking advantage of the card's convenience.
