LoveToKnow Credit Cards is an information site and is not affiliated with any credit bureau or credit card issuer. Our goal is to provide you with the information you need to make decisions.
You should write a letter back to Equifax explaining the two inaccuracies. The Equifax address is included in the above article. There should also be an address and phone number for Equifax listed on the credit report that you received from Credit Alert.
If you want to contact HSBC retail services you can call their customer service department at 800-975-4722.
Thank you for your question and for visiting LoveToKnow Credit Cards.
-- Contributed by: SusanWeberI received received my credit report, as done by you, from an agency called Credit Alert. There are two inaccuracies. One is an account you call GE money which has been closed for some time. The other is HSBC retail serices--for which you list revolving credit of 14,000 dollars. I cannot reconcile this account with any that I have. I have searched for a phone number to contact you but am unable to find one. Please contact me and let me know how I can contact this HSBC since the phone number provided is not a working number.
Thank you. Lois Richer
