Cards Offered
Citicorp Credit offers a wide variety of Visa, MasterCard and American Express credit cards. Each card is designed with unique features or for a specific type of cardholder. The most common types of cards include:
- Travel rewards - Credit cards with travel rewards are designed for the cardholder who wants to earn points based on the amount of their credit card purchases and then redeem those points for hotel stays, airline miles and card rentals.
- Cash back – The cash back credit card gives cash back to the cardholder based on the size of their purchases. For example, some cards offer five percent off on all purchases. So, if a cardholder accumulates $100 in purchases during a month, their monthly statement would show a cash back reward of $5.
- Merchant rewards – Credit cards with merchant rewards give cardholders the chance to earn points based on the amount of their credit card purchases. The amount of points earned is based on the amount of purchases made by the cardholder. Once the cardholder has accumulated enough points, they can trade their points for discounts from a special list of merchants. For example, a cardholder may earn enough bonus points to purchase a $25 merchant gift card.
- Small business – Citi has several credit cards designed for the cardholder who needs a special credit card for their small business. There are several types of cards available, each with cash back or reward features.
- Student– Special credit cards are available for college students who have limited credit histories. The cards are designed with a feature where the APR can be reduced as a reward for using credit wisely.
- Gasoline – With a gasoline credit card, the cardholder can pay for their gasoline at the pump. Citicorp offers CITGO, ExxonMobil and Phillips 66 credit cards.
- Department store – Citicorp also works with department stores to provide their credit card services. For example, the Bloomingdales, Sears, Home Depot and Macys credit cards are all managed by Citicorp Credit.

Easy Access to Service
You can always reach a representative to answer your questions by calling the 800 number on the back of your credit card or on your monthly statement. Each type of credit card will have a different 800 number which will, in turn, connect you to the customer service reps who have access to your card file.
If the representative is not able to answer your question they can get you in touch with the correct department. For example, they may be able to help you with a request to lower your APR or make a slight increase to your credit line. However, they will probably have to connect you with another representative if you are looking for help on:
- A significant increase in your credit line
- A question about a disputed transaction
- Negotiating a decrease in your total credit card balance
