Bank One Credit Card Interest Rates
With such a wide variety of Bank One credit cards available, the interest rate for each particular card varies depending on the card and the applicant. When Bank One teamed up with Chase credit card, they became a veritable credit card powerhouse, which allows them to offer a vast array of interest rates and terms. The interest rate attached to each card is subject to change if the cardholder does not stay within the agreed terms of the account. For example, a late payment on a credit card will probably result in a higher interest rate in addition to various late fees.
Rewards Cards
Bank One credit cards are available in a wide assortment of rewards cards. Cardholders can choose among several programs:
- Cash Back - Cardholders receive a small percentage of their purchases back as a reward, but with some programs the cash rewards are limited to certain purchases such as gasoline, groceries, or participating vendors. The disbursement of the cash rewards depends on the particular Bank One credit card program.
- Points - Depending on the program chosen, cardholders can earn points based on their eligible purchases made with the Bank One credit card. The points can be used to obtain a variety of merchandise including books, DVDs, kitchen supplies, or any other items included in the rewards program.
- Merchant-Specific Rewards - Various merchants, such as Amazon.com, Starbucks, and Disney offer rewards cards through Bank One which allow cardholders to earn rewards specific to the merchant. By using the credit card, the cardholder can earn rewards redeemable toward merchandise with that particular merchant.
